Ministries

At Crabtree Church, we offer a diverse range of ministries, including:
Women

The Women’s Ministry is a space where God’s Word transforms lives, equipping everyone for the challenges and joys of each day.

We meet regularly to pray, study the scriptures, and just ‘be’ together. These are times of mutual encouragement, good conversation, and plenty of laughs.

Whether you are exploring the Christian faith or have followed Christ for many years, you are warmly invited to join us.

You will find a group of women who value friendship and a shared love for Jesus.

Men

Our Men’s Ministry is about building men who follow Christ with conviction.

We seek to challenge and encourage one another to take ownership of our faith and stand firm in every area of life.

We provide spaces for men to pray together and speak honestly about the challenges we face — finding strength, support, and accountability in one another.

Wherever you are in your faith, there is a place for you here.

Seniors

Our Seniors’ Ministry is a vibrant part of life at Crabtree Church.

We believe that later seasons of life are not a time to step back, but a season for continued growth, deep connection, and walking closely with the Lord.

The wisdom and experience our older members carry are invaluable to the whole church. We love creating spaces where that faith can be shared — whether through prayer, storytelling, or simply being a steady example for the next generation.

Mindful of the practical and pastoral needs that can arise in later years, we aim to ensure that no one feels isolated or overlooked, but supported, connected, and cared for.

Youth

Our Youth Ministry is all about helping young people build a faith of their own — one that is resilient and rooted in God’s Word.

Questions are welcomed, friendships are real, and the Bible is taken seriously. We want every young person to know Jesus personally and follow Him with confidence.

Through teaching, discussion, and shared activities, young people are encouraged to think deeply, speak openly, and apply Biblical truth to the realities of everyday life.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where children begin to know God and grow in their faith from an early age.

We are committed to teaching Biblical truth clearly, faithfully, and in ways that are accessible to children.

On Sunday mornings, children meet in age-appropriate groups where they hear Bible stories, ask questions, and learn through play, conversation, and shared activities.

We recognise that parents and carers play a primary role in a child’s spiritual growth. Sunday School is designed to support and complement that role, partnering with families as we seek to raise children who know and love Christ.

Home Groups

If Crabtree Church is your home, we would love for you to be part of a small home group. While our Sunday mornings are a great way to meet, we believe the heart of church life happens when we get to know each other more personally.

Home groups are a simple way to connect with others and grow in faith.

In a smaller, more relaxed setting, there is space for real conversation, shared prayer, and time in the Bible. These gatherings make it easier to reach beyond a Sunday service, building genuine friendships along the way.

If you would like to join one of our home groups, please email us at contact@crabtreechurch.org.uk

Prayer

Prayer is central to our life as a church; it is how we seek God, align our hearts with His will, and stand together in faith. As Scripture reminds us, “My house will be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13), and again, “they all joined together constantly in prayer” (Acts 1:14).

We gather regularly for corporate prayer, setting aside intentional time to seek the Lord together. These gatherings alternate between Days of Prayer, where members can come into the prayer room at any time over a 24-hour period, and group prayer meetings, where we meet collectively to pray in unity.

These are opportunities to intercede, give thanks, and hear the voice of God. As we come together, we live out the call that “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray… then I will hear from heaven” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
